Márton Bóna - pianist
Márton Bóna was born in Győr in 1995. Although his parents were not musicians, he was captivated by his love of classical music at a very young age. At the age of 7, he began to play the piano in a self-taught manner in a primary school in a village in Győr-Moson-Sopron County. Seeing his enthusiasm and interest, his parents surprised him with a piano of his own for Christmas. He still takes this beautiful-sounding instrument with him wherever he moves to this day, whether he lived in Sopron, Vienna or Budapest, and his first piano of his life accompanied him. In addition to cultivating and studying Hungarian musical culture, he was also interested in the musical life of Vienna, the citadel of classical music, so he continued his studies here. In addition to his high-level training in Vienna, which dates back many centuries, he got a taste of various educational and performing traditions, his masters influenced him from many parts of the world, presenting the methods, techniques, and traditions there. (Paris, Moscow, Luxembourg, Salzburg, Osaka). He is proud to represent Hungarian music in the world, and has never given a single concert abroad where he did not play at least one work by a Hungarian composer. It is important for him to be able to present the values and significance of classical music to a wider audience, to further popularize this vast heritage, and to pass on to younger generations the same dedicated love of music and openness that defines his own life.
